The Showboat  in Atlantic City. It has many fun and incredible event for the people to do. One event, which attracts people to Showboat in Atlantic City, is the Gospel brunch. Gospel brunch is one of the regular events in House of Blues at the showboat casino. Hence, I decided one Sunday morning to visit the event that is so famous. The event has not occurred for last one year and has become the centre of attraction for everyone at the showboat.

The Showboat Casino is situated on the boardwalk and is reached through the main road of the town. There was not so much traffic on the way to the Atlantic City towards house of blues, which is located inside the showboat casino. The house of blue is added to the casino a few years back and includes restaurants, clubs, bars and shops. There are various events and concerts, which keep happening in the House of Blues over the course of year.

There are basically two parts in The Gospel brunch at the showboat casino. They are the brunch and the live entertainment. The brunch has basically four stations and is ready to entertain as soon as you enter there. The brunch has long tables for the people to sit and enjoy their food. It is served as buffet at the casino and includes some of the southern favourite’s dishes at the Gospel Brunch. The dishes has many varieties and mainly included fried chicken, spoon corn bread, creole chicken, egg soufflé, macaroni and cheese. We were served bit cold food and that surprised me to an extent since we were among the first to visit the Gospel brunch. However the food served were very tasty

The show at the House of Blues begins about an hour later and hence gets that much time to enjoy the brunch. One can continue eating after the show gets on but its bit difficult to continue as lights are turned off. The show was fully energetic and lightening one and moved everyone to dance. It included various collections of new and old gospel favorites and the shows went on for an hour. The show included the elements of street choir for Philadelphia.

The Gospel brunch is a great event, which attracts people of all ages. They can enjoy the southern classic brunch as well as the lifting music. I am sure to get back if given an opportunity.
